Chula Vista Firefighters Local 2180, established in 1972, is a labor union representing the professional firefighters of Chula Vista, California. Affiliated with the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF), our mission is to ensure the best wages, benefits and working conditions for our members thru representation, political action, community service and membership engagement.

Over the years, the union has successfully negotiated agreements with the City of Chula Vista to ensure the well-being of its members and the community they serve.  The union is committed to addressing challenges such as response times and staffing while prioritizing public safety and fostering collaboration with city administration.
